When Catalina finds nice acorns she likes to use her bonnet as a bag. Will you help her carry them if they don't fit? Catalina is made of gray organic cotton fleece, and stuffed with washable poly fill. Her ears are lined with cotton oxford shirting, and face is hand-stitched with cotton embroidery floss. Her elastic-waist skirt is made of multi-colored cotton paired with a red cotton bonnet. Like all Hazel Village animal clothes, Catalina's skirt and bonnet are removable so the animals can share and trade. You can hand-wash her in warm water, and she will air dry. Designed in Brooklyn by Jan Van Cleef, Hazel Village started as an art project. After Van Cleef created her first Annicke mouse, the rest of the woodland village grew. Dedicated to producing all the animals and their clothing responsibly, she works with an organic-certified fair labor factory in India, keeping play as responsible as it is fun.
