Owen loves to go to his secret tree house and practice his dance moves. He says he's such a nimble dancer and has a lot of energy! He's made of orange organic cotton fleece, with white fleece on his nose and tail and stuffed with washable fiberfill. His eyes, nose, and whiskers are hand embroidered with cotton thread, and his ears are lined with gray striped cotton jersey. Owen's dapper tailcoat is made of dark green organic cotton jersey. It has a silver snap closure. It's quite classy. Like all the Hazel Village animal clothes, it is removable just in case he gets overheated from vigorous dancing. If and when he gets scuffed or grimy, he can be hand-washed and let him air dry. Designed in Brooklyn by Jan Van Cleef, Hazel Village started as an art project. After Van Cleef created her first Annicke mouse, the rest of the woodland village grew. Dedicated to producing all the animals and their clothing responsibly, she works with an organic-certified fair labor factory in India, keeping play as responsible as it is fun.
